1 a Minute - a one night only, live event

Don’t miss Melissa Etheridge, Olivia Newton- John and Jaclyn Smith – all cancer survivors –on big screens coast to coast for only one night as NCM Fathom and UniGlobe Entertainment present 1 a Minute LIVE Supporting Susan G. Komen for the Cure.  Shown locally on Wednesday,  October 6 at 7:00pm at Cinemark Theater, this special event will be broadcast nationwide live via satellite to honor women everywhere.
The special night begins with a LIVE panel discussion about breast cancer survival and hopeful advancements broadcast from Los Angeles to movie theaters nationwide. Live event panelists confirmed to date include Olivia Newton-John, Melissa Etheridge, Deepak Chopra, Namrata Singh Gujral, Barbara Mori, as well as William Baldwin, whose mother is a cancer survivor.


Following the panel discussion will be the prerecorded docudrama 1 a Minute, written, produced and directed by Indo-American actress and breast cancer survivor Namrata Singh Gujral and narrated by Kelly McGillis. The story portrays one woman’s journey through the various phases of breast cancer diagnosis and treatment. Throughout the docudrama, celebrity guests and Susan G. Komen for the Cure Founder and CEO, Ambassador Nancy G. Brinker, share their own personal stories.
