Friday, May 18

On my Saturday afternoons, rain or shine, I go visit my friend, Priska, at the Victorian Parlor. If you are in Downtown Paducah having lunch at Martin Fierro’s, Kirchhoff’s or Doe’s like I often do, Priska’s shop at 210 Broadway is just a short walk away.
Priska has the most fabulous vintage things you’ll find ANYwhere! Beautiful pearls and other costume jewelry, hats for men and women, antique furniture, accessories and PURSES! She even has some super cute vintage dresses!
On a recent trip to the Victorian Parlor, I bought this adorable vintage handbag. It is black patent leather and in absolutely perfect condition! It is very large so it easily holds all of my necessities: lip gloss, mirror, camera, iPhone, hand sanitizer, etc. I just love how the handles are cut out!
Of course I fell in love with it when I saw it, but Priska insisted that I take a little strut in front of the mirror so I could see how great it looked with the outfit I had on that day. She had me sold! Not only does she have some of the most beautiful things you can’t find anywhere else, but her prices are extremely reasonable!
I knew instantly that I would get great use out of it on one of my many nights out and about in Downtown Paducah with my handsome Joshua. This past weekend, I used this most fabulous vintage purse on an outing to the Carson Center. We went to see the show The Rat Pack is Back, and it went with my dress perfectly!
If you love to shop, you must stop by Priska’s super fabulous store and meet her. She has the most adorable accent and a lovely personality to go along with it! Come prepared though, as she only accepts cash or checks, or she’ll send you to the ATM! I guarantee she’ll have something you’ll love!
