Friday, May 18

OH what a GLAMOROUS night it was!!! As with all parties do, we had a few that couldn’t make it (they were missed dearly). 12 was our magical number for the opening night of Sex and the City 2. Myself, Bela Stewart, Traci Hatcher, Lisa Robasse, Kendra Gray, Ines Rivas Zerpa, Laura K, Melinda Young, Stacy Brown, Carie Markus, Anna Brewer, and Lourdes Spencer hit the town…Paducah style!

Brian Steffen kept our glasses full of delicious Cosmos and doubled as our photographer for all of our group photos!! Fabulous chef one, Joshua Comley, created for us Melon et Jambon paired with a champagne cantaloupe aperitif and Rosemary goat cheese crustinis. Fabulous chef two, Mark Hatcher, created Italian sandwiches with homemade pesto and grilled pork and peach skewers.
Only one PATS bus was needed for us 12 girls, and we had the nicest, most patient driver, Danny. He deserves a big THANK YOU for putting up with us crazy gals! Our first stop was Max’s Courtyard. We enjoyed our time there with about three more Cosmos. Our goal was to be at the theatre by 9 p.m. for the movie to start at 10. Well, needless to say, we were having way too much fun!
As 9:20 p.m. crept up and we were still at Max’s Courtyard, we decided one more Cosmo at Cynthia’s would do the trick. One phone call and a short walk later, and Matthew Meeks had 11 martini glasses lined up at the bar, pouring those pretty pink drinks when we walked in the door!! Pretty, little Kendra is pregnant, so she didn’t need one!
We made it to the movie just in time to get a seat together, propped up our FABULOUS shoes, and we all LOVED IT!!! We are all going to Dubai soon…..we wish!
