Nikki D. May
Nikki is an artist on a mission to save the world from bad design. She is highly inappropriate, drinks too much coffee, spends too much time on the computer and would rather be drawing pretty pictures.

Mary Thorsby
Camera in one hand, cocktail in the other, MareMare shares her favorite people, places and parties in Louisville. Find her “finds” intriguing? Then go check ‘em out. And take her to dinner after. Oh, she does corporate stuff, too.

Laura K
Giving ‘em something to talk about (with style!) Promotional services of all kinds are for hire. Fashion, travel, food and art musings are complimentary.

Kelsie Gray is a poetess, pie alchemist, and English teacher. She lives with three cats who all suffer from varying degrees of insanity and makes a hobby of photographing herself in bathtubs that do not belong to her.

Suzanne Clinton
Serving up the random online musings of an over-thinking 40-something liberal with a serious attitude problem and a dog that eats its own poop since 2005. Read her at Bizzyville.

Jessica Perkins
Always on the hunt for interesting people and places around town, Jessica loves to create buzz about everything Paducah!

The official blog of iList Paducah, Paducah, Ky.'s most comprehensive community events calendar!

Friday, May 18
So the 14th Ever BBQ on the River's coming up. The cookin' starts Thursday, Sept. 25 and continues through Friday, Sept. 26 and Saturday, Sept. 27. The bbqontheriver.org Web site rocks — the schedule, participants and their beneficiaries and other details are all included on the site.
New this year: We're going to have an iList Paducah booth! And. Get this. We're in the Media Cook-Off. Which is pretty funny because nobody cooks less than Nikki and I.
We, however, have a secret weapon: DJ Urban Kobbb. Not only is he amazing at spinning the tunes and writing our music reviews, you should see him when he really gets cookin'! He is an excellent chef. And he loves a good challenge.
This year, the cook-off is a takeoff on Iron Chef. At 2:30 p.m., Friday, Sept. 26, all of us media types are given a cooler full of mystery meat and some spices. We have until 6:30 p.m. to transform our raw materials into amazing works of culinary art. A panel of judges will then decide the winner, and, may I just be bold enough to say, iList Paducah will be taking home one of the first BBQ on the River trophies!
Our competition so far: WKYQ, WBEL/WGCF, WQQR and the Paducah Sun. So stay tuned for details — and please plan to stop by our booth and cheer on Chef DJUK!
