Congratulations New Chamber Officers!

Tom Garrett of Paducah & Louisville Railway; Lynn King of Lourdes Hospital; and, Deborah Edmonds, Edmonds Gallery, have been named respectively Chair of the Board, Chair-elect and Vice-Chair for the Paducah Area Chamber of Commerce.

“The Chamber is honored to have such wonderful business volunteers in our leadership succession,” said Glen Anderson, 2011 Chair of the Board. 
Garrett will take over as Chair of the Board on January 1, 2012.  King will serve in 2013 and Edmonds in 2014.
 
Other members of the Chamber’s 2012 Executive Committee include:  Duncan Pitchford, Whitlow, Roberts, Houston & Straub, Vice Chair of Business Advocacy; Leslie Heath, Century 21, Vice Chair of Membership and Marketing; Bill Mogan, Harper Industries, Vice Chair of Education and Workforce; Mike Karnes, Williams, Williams, and Lentz, Treasurer; Joe Tarantino, USEC, At-Large; Glen Anderson, Paducah Water, Immediate Past Chair; and, Elaine Spalding, President.

New Board members are:  David Simon, CSI; Sheila Barger, Marquette Transportation; and, Leslie Heath, Century 21.

Bryan Carner, US Bank; Tom Clayton, Paducah Bank; Todd Duff, Innovations Branding House; Leon Owens, Swift & Staley; Bonnie Schrock, Western Baptist Hospital; Kelly Nuckols, Jackson Purchase Energy Corp.; Steve Penrod, USEC; and, Andrea Underwood of Paducah Power, Inc..

The Paducah Area Chamber of Commerce is a not-for-profit private business organization with over 1,000 member firms. The Paducah Chamber was recently named “2011 Chamber of the Year” by the American Chamber of Commerce Executives Association.
