Nikki D. May
Nikki is an artist on a mission to save the world from bad design. She is highly inappropriate, drinks too much coffee, spends too much time on the computer and would rather be drawing pretty pictures.

Mary Thorsby
Camera in one hand, cocktail in the other, MareMare shares her favorite people, places and parties in Louisville. Find her “finds” intriguing? Then go check ‘em out. And take her to dinner after. Oh, she does corporate stuff, too.

Laura K
Giving ‘em something to talk about (with style!) Promotional services of all kinds are for hire. Fashion, travel, food and art musings are complimentary.

Kelsie Gray is a poetess, pie alchemist, and English teacher. She lives with three cats who all suffer from varying degrees of insanity and makes a hobby of photographing herself in bathtubs that do not belong to her.

Suzanne Clinton
Serving up the random online musings of an over-thinking 40-something liberal with a serious attitude problem and a dog that eats its own poop since 2005. Read her at Bizzyville.

Jessica Perkins
Always on the hunt for interesting people and places around town, Jessica loves to create buzz about everything Paducah!

You all — Nikki and I are all a-flutter over receiving this very lovely award at the Paducah Chamber's Annual Meeting last night. It's the Innovator Award — a first for the Chamber, and definitely a first for us. The fabulously beautiful Robyn Shapiro presented it. Please indulge/forgive me, but I'd like to share what Robyn said here so that Nikki and I can read it from time to time, whenever we need an extra boost (or if we're ever in need of a good tearjerker):
Good Evening.
It is my distinct honor to present our next award.
The Innovator Award. New to the Chamber’s roster of accolades, this honor acknowledges innovative business practices, creativity and overall business success.
Innovative, the word itself brings several others to mind....
unusual
contemporary
novel
fresh
avant-garde
All these words and many more can be used when describing tonight’s recipient. Their impact on our community has been phenomenal. They exploded onto your computer screen 3 short years ago and their tremendous enthusiasm has taken Paducah by storm. They are cute, cute, cute, no doubt about it...help me welcome to the stage, Mary Thorsby and Nikki May of iListPaducah.com.
Is that just the sweetest thing? And I wanted to share it for another reason: Not only has Robyn become an incredibly wonderful personal friend to both Nikki and me, she has also very graciously served as a very astute business adviser to us. And I'm incredibly grateful to her. I'm grateful, too, to Elaine Spalding and the Chamber. Elaine was one of the very first people I ran the iList Paducah idea by, and she's been nothing but supportive from the get go. And, of course, to Debbie Wattier, the Godmother of iList Paducah, for inspiring the idea in the first place.
The only other thing I think Nikki and I'd say is simply this: We love Paducah. And as we noted last night: There's never been a better time to start a business in Paducah than now. If you have an idea, get a great business partner, get your support system in place and tap into the services of Terry Reeves at EntrePaducah.
And get my husband, Bruce Brockenborough. Because he just rocks.
