The official blog of iList Paducah, Paducah, Ky.'s most comprehensive community events calendar!

Friday, May 18

EntrePaducah is putting on a series of free presentations, panels and discussions all week as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week. I attended several of these events yesterday and wanted to share a few pictures.
I meant to get up early and go to the Speed Networking Breakfast, but come on - 7:30 on a cold rainy day? That just wasn’t going to happen. Judging from the photos I’ve seen, I missed out!
The first event I attended was Celebrating Women Entrepreneurs, a chance to network with women who had great advice about starting and running their own business in the Paducah area. And everyone knows how much I love networking over a free glass of wine! The upstairs room at DiFratelli was a great place for this event, which was hosted by Brandi Harless and Stephanie Felker.

Then I headed over the River Discovery Center, where Paducah Renaissance Alliance hosted How to Start a Business in the Renaissance Area, a panel discussion with current Downtown and LowerTown business owners. It was a great opportunity to hear how people got started and what some of their challenges and successes were.

There are still a few events left… check our calendar to see where you should be!
