Four Free Tix!

I've said before that I absolutely LOVE this event. Actually, I LOVE men who cook in general, so turning a total favorite thing into a Men Who Cook fundraiser is just smart thinking. Smart thinking on the part of the Purchase Area Sexual Assault & Child Advocacy Center, that is. The event is 7 p.m., tomorrow night (Saturday, March 14), at the Carson Center! Mary Foley and her team do a fantastic job with this event, recruiting 50 local guy-type celebrities to decorate booths and serve their own homemade concoctions. They've lined up State Representative Brent Housman, County Judge Executive Van Newberry, County Commissioner Jerry Beyer and City Commissioner Richard Abraham on the political front, along with lots of other fantastic guys, including iList Paducah friends! I have four free tix to give away. If you'd like one or two, be among the first to use the comments link below to respond to these questions: Who is your favorite man who cooks, and which of his dishes is your favorite? (Include your email address so that I can connect you with the tix!) I'll go first: My favorite man who cooks is my husband, Bruce Brockenborough. He makes an amazing shrimp and grits based on a Ro Morse recipe. His secret: including fried bacon and pouring the grease right into the grits. Genius, I tell you. As DJ Urban Kobbb, he'll be deejaying the event. So please plan to join us for a big night at the Carson Center!
