One of the coolest things that WKCTC’s Clemens Fine Arts Center does is their Backstage Pass Series, great acoustic music in a coffeehouse setting – onstage with the performers! The series kicks off with The Brothers Brogan and J.T. Oglesby on September 17 at 7:30 p.m. Even better? iList Paducah has scored a pair of FREE TICKETS (plus dessert and a beverage with each) that we’d like to pass on to one of our readers! Simply leave a comment on this blog post and we will randomly choose a winner Friday afternoon!

The Brothers Brogan is a group widely known for “sizzling Irish jigs and rousing traditional Celtic drinking songs and rebel ballads,” said Gail Robinson-Butler, WKCTC Clemens Fine Arts Center director. Lead singer Layne Hendrickson, founding front man for 61 South, has toured coast to coast and continues to write songs for The Legendary Shack Shackers. Hendrickson is accompanied by Justin “Doc Bones” Keeling who “adds thundering Irish rhythm to The Brothers Brogan,” Butler said.
J.T Oglesby, winner of the National Thumbpickers Award, will share the stage with The Brothers Brogan. Butler said the audience will be mesmerized by Ogleby’s intricate guitar weavings and gravel tinged vocals.
Backstage Pass tickets are $6 at the door. Desserts and beverages are available for a minimal fee.
