Nikki D. May
Nikki is an artist on a mission to save the world from bad design. She is highly inappropriate, drinks too much coffee, spends too much time on the computer and would rather be drawing pretty pictures.

Mary Thorsby
Camera in one hand, cocktail in the other, MareMare shares her favorite people, places and parties in Louisville. Find her “finds” intriguing? Then go check ‘em out. And take her to dinner after. Oh, she does corporate stuff, too.

Laura K
Giving ‘em something to talk about (with style!) Promotional services of all kinds are for hire. Fashion, travel, food and art musings are complimentary.

Kelsie Gray is a poetess, pie alchemist, and English teacher. She lives with three cats who all suffer from varying degrees of insanity and makes a hobby of photographing herself in bathtubs that do not belong to her.

Suzanne Clinton
Serving up the random online musings of an over-thinking 40-something liberal with a serious attitude problem and a dog that eats its own poop since 2005. Read her at Bizzyville.

Jessica Perkins
Always on the hunt for interesting people and places around town, Jessica loves to create buzz about everything Paducah!

Looking for new ways to promote parties, fundraisers, performances and general carryings-on? Want some suggestions on mixing new media and traditional methods to get people talking about your event?
Have we got a panel for you!
Please join us at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 18, at Jeremiah's, 225 Broadway, for the 20/30 Group DOC Talk. I'm one of the panelists, along with DJ and Promoter Tony Foo Yong, Marketing and PR Pro Laura K, Paducah Renaissance Events Coordinator David Boggs, Paducah Sun Entertainment Reporter Adam Shull and the Paducah Writers Group's Gabe Camacho.
We'll start with some wine, beer and hors d'oeuvres hosted by iList Paducah (because, frankly, free food and booze is ONE great way to get people tat event) and some great music by DJ Urban Kobbb (ditto). Then we'll get down to telling you everything we know. Hopefully, with our ideas mixed with your ideas, you'll come away from this DOC Talk with some new things to try out.
So please join us. It will be great for new PR and marketing types, non-profit groups that want to improve their events and other groups that are just getting started or just want some fresh suggestions.
Plus, it's free and it will be fun. Because free and fun are yet two OTHER ways to get people to come to your event.
Please
