Nikki D. May
Nikki is an artist on a mission to save the world from bad design. She is highly inappropriate, drinks too much coffee, spends too much time on the computer and would rather be drawing pretty pictures.

Mary Thorsby
Camera in one hand, cocktail in the other, MareMare shares her favorite people, places and parties in Louisville. Find her “finds” intriguing? Then go check ‘em out. And take her to dinner after. Oh, she does corporate stuff, too.

Laura K
Giving ‘em something to talk about (with style!) Promotional services of all kinds are for hire. Fashion, travel, food and art musings are complimentary.

Kelsie Gray is a poetess, pie alchemist, and English teacher. She lives with three cats who all suffer from varying degrees of insanity and makes a hobby of photographing herself in bathtubs that do not belong to her.

Suzanne Clinton
Serving up the random online musings of an over-thinking 40-something liberal with a serious attitude problem and a dog that eats its own poop since 2005. Read her at Bizzyville.

Jessica Perkins
Always on the hunt for interesting people and places around town, Jessica loves to create buzz about everything Paducah!

I love Bellewood Homes for Children. First of all, Gwen Taylor and Craig Felker work there — and I'm crazy about both of them. Gwen started the 40/50 Group and Craig is in the band Special D and reminds me of a much, much younger and cuter Mick Jagger. That's them, above, talking with Jamie, one of their clients.
Bellewood helps young adults, starting at age 17, make a smooth — well, as smooth as possible — transition from foster care into independent living. That means their own apartments, college (usually WKCTC, which rocks!), a job — all that kind of stuff that most of us had a little help with? That's what Gwen and Craig do for folks leaving foster care.
They've increased their client load, which is good, because it means they can help more kids. But they need our assistance. Currently, they need the following items to help the kids with their apartments:
• Small appliances like microwaves, CD players, used TVs, DVD players, lamps, etc...
• And other stuff: dishes, towels, curtains, glasses, pots/pans, baking dishes, etc...
If you have anything nice that you'd like to pass along, just send an
