Hands On St. Nick - A Makeover
St. Nicholas Family Clinic
1901 Kentucky Ave.
8:00 am - 6:00 pm
Come help us give this 20 year old organization a NEW LOOK! Help us paint, clean, organize and create a welcoming environment for our patients and the community.

Specific needs include: taping & mudding supplies, paint & artwork groupings, rugs, blinds & plants/interior foliage, soft fluorescents, baby changing station (x2), office organizers, L-shape desk, chairs, coffee tables, flooring – wood laminate & vinyl or tile, and volunteers.

Having served almost 7,000 patients since opening in 1994, St. Nicholas Family Free Clinic has made a significant impact on the health of our community and region. We are looking forward to giving back to the clinic by recruiting local businesses and volunteers to help lay new floors, freshen the walls with new paint, and organize the space for people to be proud of. Featuring JLF Interior Designs.

Great Movies Ahead at MAC!

I love Maiden Alley Cinema — it absolutely rocks to have such a great independent theatre right Downtown. It's an absolute gem, and Landee Bryant, the exec director, is the bombdiggity. LOVE her. Here are a few big shows that I'm really excited about: Who doesn't love Bridget Jones? Tuesday, Jan. 19 is Chick Flicks night, 6 p.m., with great food from Artisan Kitchen and adult drinkys (vodka and Chaka Khan, perhaps?). The movie starts at 7 p.m. It's $25 — a very worthy fundraiser for MAC. Purchase tix online! Our Paducah chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness and the Purchase Area Mental Health and Aging Coalition host The Soloist, 7 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 21. It's free — just bring a canned food donation. Nine, with hottie Daniel Day-Lewis and all those gorgeous gals, opens 7 p.m., Friday, Jan. 22. It plays through Jan. 28. And speaking of all those gorgeous gals, the Radioactive City Roller Girls are hosting Drew Berrymore's Whip It, 6 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 24. It's $10 (also a fundraiser) with all-you-can-drink beer! So grab your skates and roll on in to support our Roller Girls. By the way, their Web site is FABULOUS! We have MAC's movie schedule on iList Paducah, so visit often and see for yourself what's playing Downtown!
