Hands On St. Nick - A Makeover
St. Nicholas Family Clinic

Come help us give this 20 year old organization a NEW LOOK! Help us paint, clean, organize and create a welcoming environment for our patients and the community.

Specific needs include: taping & mudding supplies, paint & artwork groupings, rugs, blinds & plants/interior foliage, soft fluorescents, baby changing station (x2), office organizers, L-shape desk, chairs, coffee tables, flooring – wood laminate & vinyl or tile, and volunteers.

Having served almost 7,000 patients since opening in 1994, St. Nicholas Family Free Clinic has made a significant impact on the health of our community and region. We are looking forward to giving back to the clinic by recruiting local businesses and volunteers to help lay new floors, freshen the walls with new paint, and organize the space for people to be proud of. It Was a Great Weekend for Art in Paducah!

Starting the weekend off early, the Paducah School of Art faculty had a reception at the newly spruced up Clemens Fine Arts Center Gallery at WKCTC. New lighting, fresh paint and extra wall space on the new movable panels - along with the beautiful work by the talented faculty - made for a very impressive exhibit! Missed the opening? Not to worry, the show will be up through September 16. There’s still plenty of time!

Yesterday afternoon brought the largest turnout I’ve seen all year to the grand opening of BiLan Liao’s new studio and gallery in LowerTown! Come on down and check out this unique building which combines the historical architecture of LowerTown with a very Chinese sensibility - perfect for housing BiLan’s art!
