Hands On St. Nick - A Makeover
St. Nicholas Family Clinic
1901 Kentucky Ave.
8:00 am - 6:00 pm
Come help us give this 20 year old organization a NEW LOOK! Help us paint, clean, organize and create a welcoming environment for our patients and the community.

Specific needs include: taping & mudding supplies, paint & artwork groupings, rugs, blinds & plants/interior foliage, soft fluorescents, baby changing station (x2), office organizers, L-shape desk, chairs, coffee tables, flooring – wood laminate & vinyl or tile, and volunteers.

Having served almost 7,000 patients since opening in 1994, St. Nicholas Family Free Clinic has made a significant impact on the health of our community and region. We are looking forward to giving back to the clinic by recruiting local businesses and volunteers to help lay new floors, freshen the walls with new paint, and organize the space for people to be proud of. Featuring JLF Interior Designs.

GTGs to Bear: Bring It!

Hunka hunka Bear on the Air of WKYQ is the celebrity bartender tomorrow night at Pasta House, 5-8 p.m. Can he meet or beat the Get Together Gals' world record of selling 42 wine tastings? We think he can — and we encourage everyone to go out and cheer him on! The event benefits St. Nicholas Clinic. Pasta House owner Bob Hoppmann donates meals to the hard-working staff and volunteers who provide free or very low-cost heathcare services to those in need. The GTGs went a step further, matching the proceeds from the wine tasting and presenting St. Nicholas Clinic Executive Director Anita Wyatt with a check today for $230. We hear Bear has recruited Dr. Jeff AND Karla Lawrence of Artisan Kitchen to help out behind the bar. Smart move. I'd also recommend that Bear NOT wear high heels while bartending. Believe me, that is a very bad mistake regardless of how cute they look. Good luck, Bear!
