Nikki D. May
Nikki is an artist on a mission to save the world from bad design. She is highly inappropriate, drinks too much coffee, spends too much time on the computer and would rather be drawing pretty pictures.

Mary Thorsby
Camera in one hand, cocktail in the other, MareMare shares her favorite people, places and parties in Louisville. Find her “finds” intriguing? Then go check ‘em out. And take her to dinner after. Oh, she does corporate stuff, too.

Laura K
Giving ‘em something to talk about (with style!) Promotional services of all kinds are for hire. Fashion, travel, food and art musings are complimentary.

Kelsie Gray is a poetess, pie alchemist, and English teacher. She lives with three cats who all suffer from varying degrees of insanity and makes a hobby of photographing herself in bathtubs that do not belong to her.

Suzanne Clinton
Serving up the random online musings of an over-thinking 40-something liberal with a serious attitude problem and a dog that eats its own poop since 2005. Read her at Bizzyville.

Jessica Perkins
Always on the hunt for interesting people and places around town, Jessica loves to create buzz about everything Paducah!

Our latest Look Who's Blogging column in the Sun's Current section, which comes out on Thursdays, had us confessing our most guilty pleasure. Suzanne had a big ol' list including, but oh-so-not-limited to, Twizzlers, tequila and hot-off-the-grill burgers at G&O. Love all those! Patience talked about the calling of the Kirchhoff's cookie — the Cowboy (my fave), the Laura, the lemonade one, the Chess Bar.
My take was a little different. I didn't understand the question. Pleasure, yes. I'm very familiar with that. My husband's beautiful blue eyes. A big, fat martini with three olives. The newest issue of Vanity Fair and a long plane ride. Watching the river barges. An amazing gospel choir. New shoes.
Guilt? Hum. Lemme think. There's gotta be some guilt up around here somewhere. OK, got one! I'm definitely guilty of not handling every situation just right.
But guilt and pleasure all together, all at once? As long as nobody's hurt or offended, I don't see how guilt has any business gettin' itself all tangled up in anybody's pleasure. Pleasure's pleasure. And I'm incredibly thankful for every bit of it.

By the way, our question for this coming Thursday: "The song that defined my summer '08 is...?" Anyone have any ideas?
