Hands On St. Nick - A Makeover
St. Nicholas Family Clinic

Come help us give this 20 year old organization a NEW LOOK! Help us paint, clean, organize and create a welcoming environment for our patients and the community.

Specific needs include: taping & mudding supplies, paint & artwork groupings, rugs, blinds & plants/interior foliage, soft fluorescents, baby changing station (x2), office organizers, L-shape desk, chairs, coffee tables, flooring – wood laminate & vinyl or tile, and volunteers.

Having served almost 7,000 patients since opening in 1994, St. Nicholas Family Free Clinic has made a significant impact on the health of our community and region. We are looking forward to giving back to the clinic by recruiting local businesses and volunteers to help lay new floors, freshen the walls with new paint, and organize the space for people to be proud of. imageHow much do we love Darlene Mazzone? I know I’ve gushed about her numerous times here on our blog. And we love featuring a PADUCAH LIFE story each week on our home page.

Darlene and her team do such top-notch work. That’s one of the reasons I reached out to her soon after I arrived in Paducah almost five years ago and laid eyes on my first issue of PADUCAH LIFE. Gorgeous!

I’m thrilled to say that Darlene and I have been mutual fans, friends and colleagues ever since our first meeting and will continue to be so, I suspect, for a very long time to come.

This month, Team Darlene celebrates 20 years of the fabulous PADUCAH LIFE legacy. We’ve got the scoop here, plus you can read about it on Darlene’s own blog.

What a wonderful milestone for a wonderful role model and awe-inspiring friend. Congratulations, Darlene!

MUTUAL fan would be the correct term. The energy and the enthusiasm that you have injected into this community has been contagious. It has been a great, great pleasure working with you these past few years. I remember that glass of wine at B Russell’s when you queried, “What do you think about an online calendar of events?” It has become SO much more and we are ALL the beneficiaries.
You gotta love WOMEN in publishing now don’t ya?
