Well, not really. But they may prove to be hard competition for each other as they put a twist on Market House Theatre’s latest Curtain Call Auction. Here’s the scoop from MHT Board Member Kristin Williams:
Who would you rather see as a charming little orphan girl in Annie? Elaine and Mary are in a competition, of sorts. Whoever raises the most money DOESN’T HAVE TO PLAY THE PART. They have about 2 weeks before the fun-filled Market House Theatre Curtain Call Auction to out-fundraise the other. Whoever falls short has to play an orphan girl in the MHT special production of Annie on June 18th.
