Hands On St. Nick - A Makeover
St. Nicholas Family Clinic
1901 Kentucky Ave.
8:00 am - 6:00 pm
Come help us give this 20 year old organization a NEW LOOK! Help us paint, clean, organize and create a welcoming environment for our patients and the community.

Specific needs include: taping & mudding supplies, paint & artwork groupings, rugs, blinds & plants/interior foliage, soft fluorescents, baby changing station (x2), office organizers, L-shape desk, chairs, coffee tables, flooring – wood laminate & vinyl or tile, and volunteers.

Having served almost 7,000 patients since opening in 1994, St. Nicholas Family Free Clinic has made a significant impact on the health of our community and region. We are looking forward to giving back to the clinic by recruiting local businesses and volunteers to help lay new floors, freshen the walls with new paint, and organize the space for people to be proud of. Featuring JLF Interior Designs.

Just When Life Couldn't Get Any Better…

I discover this. Black Dragon. And my new energy level is kicking my old energy level in the badonkadonk. Actually, I didn't discover it. My new favorite personal physician, acupuncturist healer and goddess Dr. Christi Bonds gave them to me when I went to her Integrative Medicine of Kentucky salon the other day complaining of a huge lack of pep. She poked me with her famous pep needles (my Chi was blocked again), and 30 minutes later I was skipping out the door with stepmother's little helper, my new BFF, Black Dragon, in my hot little hand. The pills are filled with all sorts of herbs and plant matter. The only one I recognize is malted barley because, you know, beer. But evidently the secret weapon lies in the Olong tea extract. It serves up an efficient equivalent of 1.5 cups of coffee per pill. Frankly, the pills could be made from toasted toad tongue mixed with braised poison ivy root and I'd still take them for this incredible extra energy boost I've been enjoying this past week. I take just one each morning with my love in a cup, Love Buzz, but the directions suggest taking two or three a day. I shudder to think of the havoc I would wreck if I took two or three. If you could use a little puppy upper — or, God forbid, you've developed a nasty little coke habit and could use a legal alternative — get thee to Christi. Her number is 415.1752.
