Hottie Fowler Black and dad Bill Black were among the many of us who did 30-minute intervals on treadmills in the beautiful Western Baptist Heart Center's rehab room today. It was all part of MyStart!, with the goal of showing that exercising with a buddy is way more fun — and helps ensure that folks stick with their fitness goals.
I walked early this morning with the lovely Anne Bidwell of WKMS. Also on deck for today were Mayor Bill Paxton and Judge Van Newberry, several TV and radio reporters, several folks from Lourdes and, of course, Western Baptist and our friends from isurfpaducah.com, Paducah Life and Paducah Parenting.
It was super cute, except I had an amazing view of G&O the whole time, and all I could think about was going there for fried eggs and bacon for breakfast. Luckily I had to be back at my office for a phone interview, otherwise those 30 minutes would have been well-reversed at the G&O counter....
