Hands On St. Nick - A Makeover
St. Nicholas Family Clinic

8:00 am - 6:00 pm
Come help us give this 20 year old organization a NEW LOOK! Help us paint, clean, organize and create a welcoming environment for our patients and the community.

Specific needs include: taping & mudding supplies, paint & artwork groupings, rugs, blinds & plants/interior foliage, soft fluorescents, baby changing station (x2), office organizers, L-shape desk, chairs, coffee tables, flooring – wood laminate & vinyl or tile, and volunteers.

Having served almost 7,000 patients since opening in 1994, St. Nicholas Family Free Clinic has made a significant impact on the health of our community and region. We are looking forward to giving back to the clinic by recruiting local businesses and volunteers to help lay new floors, freshen the walls with new paint, and organize the space for people to be proud of. Me and My Shadow!

Meet Kendra Hays — she's the super cute YOUNG one on the right, making me look terribly OLD this morning. Kendra is a senior at Carlisle County High School and will be shadowing me today as I work on iList Paducah stuff. Yay, Kendra! After graduating from Carlisle in May, Kendra will attend WKCTC for her associate's degree in art, and then will head to UK (Go, Wildcats!) for a journalism degree. This morning, we're touring the new Dippin' Dots store at Kentucky Oaks Mall, and will then interview super cute Paul Bilak about the upcoming One World Project AIDS Orphan 5K. Then it's on to the BPW awards lunch, followed by some serious fashion investigation with Laura K for an upcoming iLove it story! We'll post photos and details later! Welcome, Kendra!
