Hands On St. Nick - A Makeover
St. Nicholas Family Clinic
1901 Kentucky Ave.
8:00 am - 6:00 pm
Come help us give this 20 year old organization a NEW LOOK! Help us paint, clean, organize and create a welcoming environment for our patients and the community.

Specific needs include: taping & mudding supplies, paint & artwork groupings, rugs, blinds & plants/interior foliage, soft fluorescents, baby changing station (x2), office organizers, L-shape desk, chairs, coffee tables, flooring – wood laminate & vinyl or tile, and volunteers.

Having served almost 7,000 patients since opening in 1994, St. Nicholas Family Free Clinic has made a significant impact on the health of our community and region. We are looking forward to giving back to the clinic by recruiting local businesses and volunteers to help lay new floors, freshen the walls with new paint, and organize the space for people to be proud of. Featuring JLF Interior Designs.

Paducah School of Art Ready for Action!

I've mentioned here a few times that WKCTC's Paducah School of Art is definitely gearing up for some artistic action. The school will be temporarily housed in Sarah Roush's gorgeous 409 Broadway building until the old Kitchen's Inc. building is restored. (Gerry and Wally Montgomery have already pledged some serious bank for the project — rock on, Montgomerys!) Anyhoodie, WKCTC invites everyone to stop by Sarah's place this Saturday, Aug. 9, for a fab Open House. Tour the facility, meet the faculty and register for fall classes anytime between noon and 9 p.m. Classes in drawing, painting, ceramics, sculpture and 2- and 3-D design will be offered at all levels from beginning to advanced by nationally and internationally exhibited master artist/teachers. Some classes will be held at the Broadway studio and others will be offered on the WKCTC campus. For more info about art classes, call 408.4278.
