Hands On St. Nick - A Makeover
St. Nicholas Family Clinic

8:00 am - 6:00 pm
Come help us give this 20 year old organization a NEW LOOK! Help us paint, clean, organize and create a welcoming environment for our patients and the community.

Specific needs include: taping & mudding supplies, paint & artwork groupings, rugs, blinds & plants/interior foliage, soft fluorescents, baby changing station (x2), office organizers, L-shape desk, chairs, coffee tables, flooring – wood laminate & vinyl or tile, and volunteers.

Having served almost 7,000 patients since opening in 1994, St. Nicholas Family Free Clinic has made a significant impact on the health of our community and region. We are looking forward to giving back to the clinic by recruiting local businesses and volunteers to help lay new floors, freshen the walls with new paint, and organize the space for people to be proud of. Pride on Park Avenue

I meant to post this the other day. Nikki and I brought Vera Piggsley to Pride on the River this past Sunday, photographing folks with her and giving away the prints for free. Totally cute, and it's always so fun to see people so drawn to her. LowerTown artist Deb Lyons is Vera's birth mom. She painted her as part of a fundraiser in Murray a few years ago, and I adopted her. Vera's been a great mascot for iList Paducah. Anyway, that's the gorgeous Aloha Romay above — we know her for her amazing margaritas at Tribeca. It was such a beautiful day. Lots of fun folks gathered to celebrate themselves and each other, hear great music, watch Nikki doodle her Tracker, enjoy wonderful entertainers and just hang out. We were proud to be part of Pride. Congrats, y'all, on such a fantastic event!
