Camera in one hand, cocktail in the other, MareMare shares her favorite people, places and parties in Louisville. Find her “finds” intriguing? Then go check ‘em out. And take her to dinner after. Oh, she does corporate stuff, too.

Laura K

Kelsie Gray is a poetess, pie alchemist, and English teacher. She lives with three cats who all suffer from varying degrees of insanity and makes a hobby of photographing herself in bathtubs that do not belong to her.

Suzanne Clinton
Serving up the random online musings of an over-thinking 40-something liberal with a serious attitude problem and a dog that eats its own poop since 2005. Read her at Bizzyville.

Saturday, May 26
I'm a big fan of anything involving a martini, even when used as possessive punctuation. So I'm LOVING the new logo for the newly renamed B. Russell's bar! It's now called Russell's Bar & Grill, offering new menu items along with Russell's signature dishes.
The bar is still open for business (I'm also a big fan of the lovely Jody Suhrheinrich, one of the super cute bartenders there), Monday-Thursday 11 a.m.-10 p.m., and Friday and Saturday 11 a.m.-midnight. You can eat and drink outside — awesome, since the weather is slightly cooling off a bit. And Russell's will have live entertainment from time to time.
The restaurant part will re-open later this fall as Sulli's Steakhouse! Woo-Hoo! So now you can get your steaks on in the West End!
“We hope to bring a unique yet casual dining experience to this area by creating Paducah’s Own Classic Steakhouse perfect for the entire family while keeping the same bar with a new atmosphere and menu," says Jeff James, who joins Brian Crabtree as co-owner and managing partner of the new venture.
Brian sees Sulli's as "Paducah’s Signature Steakhouse," offering a casual yet classy atmosphere with an affordable menu. “Both Sulli’s Steakhouse and Russell’s Bar will be the perfect place for dinner out with friends, meetings and special events," he says.
Sulli’s Steakhouse will feature a full lunch, dinner and takeout menu. For more info, call Brian at 444.9700. Or just go to the bar and check it all out for yourself like I plan to do this Friday! See you around 6 p.m.!
