Hands On St. Nick - A Makeover
St. Nicholas Family Clinic

Come help us give this 20 year old organization a NEW LOOK! Help us paint, clean, organize and create a welcoming environment for our patients and the community.

Specific needs include: taping & mudding supplies, paint & artwork groupings, rugs, blinds & plants/interior foliage, soft fluorescents, baby changing station (x2), office organizers, L-shape desk, chairs, coffee tables, flooring – wood laminate & vinyl or tile, and volunteers.

Having served almost 7,000 patients since opening in 1994, St. Nicholas Family Free Clinic has made a significant impact on the health of our community and region. We are looking forward to giving back to the clinic by recruiting local businesses and volunteers to help lay new floors, freshen the walls with new paint, and organize the space for people to be proud of. Recycle On, GPS!

Congratulations to the fine folks of GPS Recycle Now! They've got a new home at 1830 North 8th St., just north of Paducah Water. So this is the place to bring all recyclables twice a month now, instead of just once. Mark your recyclable calendars for 9 a.m.-1 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 6, Sept. 20, Oct. 11, Oct. 25, Nov. 8, Nov. 22 and if you have your 2009 calendar, Jan. 3. Look for the group's ad (above) in today's Paducah Sun and in the most recent issue of Paducah Parenting! Recycle on, GPS!
