Hands On St. Nick - A Makeover
St. Nicholas Family Clinic
1901 Kentucky Ave.
8:00 am - 6:00 pm
Come help us give this 20 year old organization a NEW LOOK! Help us paint, clean, organize and create a welcoming environment for our patients and the community.

Specific needs include: taping & mudding supplies, paint & artwork groupings, rugs, blinds & plants/interior foliage, soft fluorescents, baby changing station (x2), office organizers, L-shape desk, chairs, coffee tables, flooring – wood laminate & vinyl or tile, and volunteers.

Having served almost 7,000 patients since opening in 1994, St. Nicholas Family Free Clinic has made a significant impact on the health of our community and region. We are looking forward to giving back to the clinic by recruiting local businesses and volunteers to help lay new floors, freshen the walls with new paint, and organize the space for people to be proud of. Featuring JLF Interior Designs.

Roscoe CD Release Show: Saturday, Feb. 20

This just in from Roscoe: Buy the CD at Etcetera Coffeehouse!

This weekend is ACTION-PACKED in Paducah. Along with all the great bands in all of our usual venues listed our home page, the Symphony, wild Kenn Gray’s even wilder birthday party (featuring my favorite DJ) and the like, we also have the CD release party from local band Roscoe. It’s 7 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 20, at the Hotel Irvin Cobb, up in the ballroom.

The Sun’s Adam Shull must think it’s special, too — it’s his top cover story in today’s Current!

I’m a fan of Roscoe because first, I love the name. I used to have a dog named Roscoe, and we were big pals. Second, I love that Jeremiah Hunt. He’s darling. (He’s the third one over behind the flaming piano in the photo, taken by the fab John Paul Henry.) You often find Jeremiah working at Martin Fierro. And third, and here’s why I REALLY like Roscoe: Jeremiah dates Landee Bryant of Maiden Alley Cinema, and I’m a huge fan of Landee, and I think they’re super cute together.

So there you go. All great reasons to support this local rockin’ band.

Congratulations, Roscoe!
