Hands On St. Nick - A Makeover
St. Nicholas Family Clinic
1901 Kentucky Ave.
8:00 am - 6:00 pm
Come help us give this 20 year old organization a NEW LOOK! Help us paint, clean, organize and create a welcoming environment for our patients and the community.

Specific needs include: taping & mudding supplies, paint & artwork groupings, rugs, blinds & plants/interior foliage, soft fluorescents, baby changing station (x2), office organizers, L-shape desk, chairs, coffee tables, flooring – wood laminate & vinyl or tile, and volunteers.

Having served almost 7,000 patients since opening in 1994, St. Nicholas Family Free Clinic has made a significant impact on the health of our community and region. We are looking forward to giving back to the clinic by recruiting local businesses and volunteers to help lay new floors, freshen the walls with new paint, and organize the space for people to be proud of. Featuring JLF Interior Designs.

Sarah’s Love List: Leadership Paducah/Family Service Society

imageOK, all you big stars! Leadership Paducah Class 23 hands you the mic Saturday, May 8, at The Star Bar & Grill — so get your karaoke on! The gig benefits Family Service Society.

Lyrics scroll at 6 p.m.; contest starts at 9 p.m. LP Class member Chuck Sexton to emcee and celebrity judging by Adam Shull of the Paducah Sun, Laura K of Laura K Style and A.J. from Electric 96.9.

$5 in advance. RSVP on Facebook or call Kevin Jones, 270.994.7597. Otherwise $10 at the door. First prize $150 cash. Second place wins dinner for two at Max’s.

This is just one of the many fundraisers the LP class is hosting to raise money for Family Service Society, their chosen class project. FSS serves as a crisis resource to families of Paducah/McCracken County in need of temporary relief. Assistance services include food, clothing, utilities, medication, dental and Christmas assistance.

If you’re asking, I would karaoke to Madonna’s Vogue. That’s what I do in the car, anyway. Luvs It!!
