Hands On St. Nick - A Makeover
St. Nicholas Family Clinic

Come help us give this 20 year old organization a NEW LOOK! Help us paint, clean, organize and create a welcoming environment for our patients and the community.

Specific needs include: taping & mudding supplies, paint & artwork groupings, rugs, blinds & plants/interior foliage, soft fluorescents, baby changing station (x2), office organizers, L-shape desk, chairs, coffee tables, flooring – wood laminate & vinyl or tile, and volunteers.

Having served almost 7,000 patients since opening in 1994, St. Nicholas Family Free Clinic has made a significant impact on the health of our community and region. We are looking forward to giving back to the clinic by recruiting local businesses and volunteers to help lay new floors, freshen the walls with new paint, and organize the space for people to be proud of. Sarah’s Love List: 48-Hour Film Project

imageThe fab 48-Hour Film Project starts at 6 p.m., Friday, Aug. 13, at Maiden Alley Cinema — so rest up for a wild and sleepless weekend in which you and your team team write, shoot, edit and score a movie in just 48 hours.

On Friday night you get a character, a prop, a line of dialogue and a genre, all to include in your movie. 48 hours later, the movie must be complete. It will show at Maiden Alley Cinema, usually in the next week. The local winner goes on to the national competition. For more info, contact Landee, 442.7723.
