Hands On St. Nick - A Makeover

Come help us give this 20 year old organization a NEW LOOK! Help us paint, clean, organize and create a welcoming environment for our patients and the community.

Specific needs include: taping & mudding supplies, paint & artwork groupings, rugs, blinds & plants/interior foliage, soft fluorescents, baby changing station (x2), office organizers, L-shape desk, chairs, coffee tables, flooring – wood laminate & vinyl or tile, and volunteers.

Having served almost 7,000 patients since opening in 1994, St. Nicholas Family Free Clinic has made a significant impact on the health of our community and region. We are looking forward to giving back to the clinic by recruiting local businesses and volunteers to help lay new floors, freshen the walls with new paint, and organize the space for people to be proud of. Summer Festival Kickball? Game ON!

Oh, y'all. The 20/30 Group Kickball Invitational — set for Saturday, July 25 — it's gonna be BRUTAL. This is no friendly game you played in grammar school. It's gonna be a kickball smackdown, with music, food vendors and the all-important Beer on the Bricks going on at the same time. Here's the schedule — I'm hoping a first aid station will be nearby: Noon-12:30 p.m. McMurry & Livingston vs Denton & Keuler 12:45-1:15 p.m. Paducah Renaissance Alliance vs Paducah CVB 1:30-2 p.m. 20/30 Group vs Paducah Fire Department 2:15-2:45 p.m. Regions Bank vs Paducah Bank 3-3:30 p.m. Bristol Broadcasting vs WPSD 3:45-4:15 p.m. 20/30 Group vs 40/50 Group Whaaaaaaa? The 20/30 Group is playing twice in one afternoon? Well, I reckon that's why they're the 20/30 Group. Show offs! The 20/30 Group Kickball Invitational is sponsored by Regions Bank. All proceeds benefit the 20/30 Group, which provides professional development, networking and community service opportunities for the 20-39 year old demographic.
