Nikki D. May
Nikki is an artist on a mission to save the world from bad design. She is highly inappropriate, drinks too much coffee, spends too much time on the computer and would rather be drawing pretty pictures.

Mary Thorsby
Camera in one hand, cocktail in the other, MareMare shares her favorite people, places and parties in Louisville. Find her “finds” intriguing? Then go check ‘em out. And take her to dinner after. Oh, she does corporate stuff, too.

Laura K
Giving ‘em something to talk about (with style!) Promotional services of all kinds are for hire. Fashion, travel, food and art musings are complimentary.

Kelsie Gray is a poetess, pie alchemist, and English teacher. She lives with three cats who all suffer from varying degrees of insanity and makes a hobby of photographing herself in bathtubs that do not belong to her.

Suzanne Clinton
Serving up the random online musings of an over-thinking 40-something liberal with a serious attitude problem and a dog that eats its own poop since 2005. Read her at Bizzyville.

Jessica Perkins
Always on the hunt for interesting people and places around town, Jessica loves to create buzz about everything Paducah!

Saturday, May 26
This just in from the ever busy Elaine Spalding:
The Lower Town Home & Gallery Tour will once again be held in conjunction with the AQS Quilt Show. The dates and times of the Home Tour are:
Fri., April 29, 6 – 9 p.m.
Sat., April 30, 2 – 5 p.m.
Over a dozen homes and galleries will be on the tour this year, including “The Belle Louise” owned by Brent “The Colonel” Dukes, the Queen Anne home of Andy and Commissioner Gayle Kaler, and the “Mary Jane” home of Paul and Monica Bilak, just to name a few. The tour is open to the public and all proceeds benefit the Lower Town Neighborhood Association and scholarships to the Paducah School of Art. What a great way see some beautifully restored historic homes while helping two wonderfully worthwhile causes! Plus, you get to meet some of the fabulous people of the Lower Town neighborhood. The Saturday hours in the afternoon this year will make it easy to tour the galleries as well.
Tickets are $10 per person and cover you for both days. They will be available for sale the week of April 25 – 30 at the TEXACO Station in Lower Town (corner of N.
7th St. & Madison) and at Bryerpatch Studio (502 N. 5th St.)
For more information, contact Home Tour Chair Elaine Spalding at (270) 441-7050.
