Hands On St. Nick - A Makeover
St. Nicholas Family Clinic

Come help us give this 20 year old organization a NEW LOOK! Help us paint, clean, organize and create a welcoming environment for our patients and the community.

Specific needs include: taping & mudding supplies, paint & artwork groupings, rugs, blinds & plants/interior foliage, soft fluorescents, baby changing station (x2), office organizers, L-shape desk, chairs, coffee tables, flooring – wood laminate & vinyl or tile, and volunteers.

Having served almost 7,000 patients since opening in 1994, St. Nicholas Family Free Clinic has made a significant impact on the health of our community and region. We are looking forward to giving back to the clinic by recruiting local businesses and volunteers to help lay new floors, freshen the walls with new paint, and organize the space for people to be proud of. Team Sandra: Show Your Ya-Yas!

imageOK, Team Sandra! Show your Ya-Yas at the next Chick Flicks: The Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood, Monday, May 17, at Maiden Alley Cinema.

Start with a spread from Artisan Kitchen and Ya Ya-inspired cocktails. Movie starts at 7 p.m. Tix are $20 (cheaper than dinner, cocktails and a movie) and benefit MAC. Purchase ‘em online or at the door.

Our gal Sandra Bullock (LOVE HER!) stars as Sidda Lee Walker, a New York playwright who opens a can of emotional worms with her estranged, boozy mother, Vivi (Ellen Burstyn), when she discusses her painful childhood and particularly Vivi’s less-than-enviable mothering skills in a Time magazine article. Directed by hometown gal Callie Khouri.
