You’ve got to love it when really good things happen to really good people. Hometown fella Danny Murphy had a plum lawyer position here with McMurry & Livingston — and just a few years ago, headed to Lexington with gorgeous wife Melissa to join the oh lá lá firm of Wyatt, Tarrant & Combs.
And now? The University of Kentucky has tapped him as Assistant Dean for Administration and Community Engagement at the UK College of Law. He started June 1.
In his new role, Danny takes care of the college’s nonacademic operations: supervising communications, alumni affairs, the Continuing Legal Education program and IT departments, and he spearheads the college’s renewed efforts to enhance engagement with the university, the community and the state.
Wow, what a wonderful opportunity. Congratulations, Assistant Dean Murphy! Another great success, with more to come, no doubt about it!
