Hands On St. Nick - A Makeover

Come help us give this 20 year old organization a NEW LOOK! Help us paint, clean, organize and create a welcoming environment for our patients and the community.

Specific needs include: taping & mudding supplies, paint & artwork groupings, rugs, blinds & plants/interior foliage, soft fluorescents, baby changing station (x2), office organizers, L-shape desk, chairs, coffee tables, flooring – wood laminate & vinyl or tile, and volunteers.

Having served almost 7,000 patients since opening in 1994, St. Nicholas Family Free Clinic has made a significant impact on the health of our community and region. We are looking forward to giving back to the clinic by recruiting local businesses and volunteers to help lay new floors, freshen the walls with new paint, and organize the space for people to be proud of. The Super Cute Arms Dealer & The Car Bomb

Well, we survived a big night of New Year's Eve parties with our house guest David McCallum, the super cute arms dealer from the Beretta gun people in Washington, DC. And this morning, to get 2010 started on the right foot, he treated us to one of the favorites in his drinks arsenal: The Irish Car Bomb. Here's Dave's recipe: Pour a half a pint of Guinness into your favorite glass. Grab your handy Laura Duff's Pampered Palate shot glass, created by Robyn Shapiro from René Advertising. Pour in a half shot of Bushmill's Irish Whiskey. Fill the rest of your Laura Duff shot glass created by René Advertising with a half shot of Bailey's Irish Cream. Lovingly and gingerly drop your Laura Duff shot glass into your glass of Guinness. Watch it explode! Turn it up before the cream curdles! Erin Go Bragh! It's an Irish party in your mouth! And voila!
