Camera in one hand, cocktail in the other, MareMare shares her favorite people, places and parties in Louisville. Find her “finds” intriguing? Then go check ‘em out. And take her to dinner after. Oh, she does corporate stuff, too.

Laura K

Kelsie Gray is a poetess, pie alchemist, and English teacher. She lives with three cats who all suffer from varying degrees of insanity and makes a hobby of photographing herself in bathtubs that do not belong to her.

Suzanne Clinton
Serving up the random online musings of an over-thinking 40-something liberal with a serious attitude problem and a dog that eats its own poop since 2005. Read her at Bizzyville.

I meant to post this last week. Aren't they darling? These gals celebrated Anne Bidwell's birthday at last Tuesday's Maiden Alley Cinema Chick Flicks: Steel Magnolias. That's Dana Herndon, Jessica Byassee, The Birthday Girl, Marra McMillan, Shannon Wilson, Ronda Gibson and Lori Althouse in capes and curlers provided by Gayle Kaler of Chantilles. Too cute.
Here's fun little note from Anne: "Please pass along my thanks to everyone involved in the Chick Flicks tonight. It was just wonderful! Coffee and cupcakes never tasted so good. You guys are coming up with great ideas, and it is so nice to know the fun we had tonight will help fund two very important aspects of our community. I can't wait for December!"
In case you didn't make it, the coffee and commemorative Chick Flicks mugs were supplied by the fabulous Etcetera Coffeehouse, and the cupcakes and armadillo cake were provided by Kirchhoff's. Complimentary hankies were provided by the series' lead sponsor Contemporary OB/GYN. René Advertising and iList Paducah are co-sponsors. And the proceeds are divided between M.A.C. and the Merryman House.
More details on the Chick Flicks series, including the next one — Breakfast at Tiffany's, Dec. 16 — are here!
