Nikki D. May
Nikki is an artist on a mission to save the world from bad design. She is highly inappropriate, drinks too much coffee, spends too much time on the computer and would rather be drawing pretty pictures.

Mary Thorsby
Camera in one hand, cocktail in the other, MareMare shares her favorite people, places and parties in Louisville. Find her “finds” intriguing? Then go check ‘em out. And take her to dinner after. Oh, she does corporate stuff, too.

Laura K
Giving ‘em something to talk about (with style!) Promotional services of all kinds are for hire. Fashion, travel, food and art musings are complimentary.

Kelsie Gray is a poetess, pie alchemist, and English teacher. She lives with three cats who all suffer from varying degrees of insanity and makes a hobby of photographing herself in bathtubs that do not belong to her.

Suzanne Clinton
Serving up the random online musings of an over-thinking 40-something liberal with a serious attitude problem and a dog that eats its own poop since 2005. Read her at Bizzyville.

Jessica Perkins
Always on the hunt for interesting people and places around town, Jessica loves to create buzz about everything Paducah!

Paducah’s favorite 48 Hour Film Project film, Day to Die, makes its international debut in Vegas this weekend! Phocus Media team members, led by Jonathan Warren and Curt Stewart, will celebrate at Filmapalooza, April 10-12.
Filmapalooza is the grand finale of the 48 Hour Film Project, in which more than 30,000 people from 80 cities around the world — including Paducah, the smallest participating city! — make a short film in one weekend. The winning filmmakers gather to watch films, network, exchange ideas and eagerly wait to see if they are the grand prize winner of the “Best Film” award.
Oscar-nominated director Jason Reitman (Up in the Air, Juno) is the keynote speaker and will present the winner’s trophy. My bet is on Phocus Media bringing that baby back to Paducah!
If you’re in Vegas this weekend, put down the dice and get to the Las Vegas Hilton by 3 p.m., Saturday, April 10, and cheer our team on!
In the meantime, watch the film on YouTube!
The Phocus Media cast and crew includes Director Jonathan Warren, Still Photographer Drew Swim, Director of Photography Michael Driver, Actor Chuck “Bagel Stealer” Sexton, Writer/Actor Melanie Myers-Hawes, Writer/Actor Gabe “You know I love you, baby” Camacho, Executive Producer/Writer Curt Stewart, Actor (Laura “Mine’s real” K, Grip/Extra Justin Keeling and a cameo appearance by Mayor Bill Paxton.
