Hands On St. Nick - A Makeover
St. Nicholas Family Clinic

Come help us give this 20 year old organization a NEW LOOK! Help us paint, clean, organize and create a welcoming environment for our patients and the community.

Specific needs include: taping & mudding supplies, paint & artwork groupings, rugs, blinds & plants/interior foliage, soft fluorescents, baby changing station (x2), office organizers, L-shape desk, chairs, coffee tables, flooring – wood laminate & vinyl or tile, and volunteers.

Having served almost 7,000 patients since opening in 1994, St. Nicholas Family Free Clinic has made a significant impact on the health of our community and region. We are looking forward to giving back to the clinic by recruiting local businesses and volunteers to help lay new floors, freshen the walls with new paint, and organize the space for people to be proud of. Featuring JLF Interior Designs.

Those Men Were COOKIN'!

Saturday's Men Who Cook was an absolute blast and an absolute success! The Carson Center was packed thanks to celebrity chefs like Todd Megabucks Megibow, running in football-player style... State Representative Brent Housman... City Commissioner Richard Abraham and his gorgeous daughter Miki... iDate Daniel Case and his super cute kiddo... And handsome dad-to-be Venu Arunajatesan with his famous margherita pizzas, among tons more fellas. The Baker won best table decor, Bear on the Air won best apron, Tommy Thompson won best entrée, Matt Walker won best appetizer, Judge Rob Mattingly and Judge Dennis Foust won best dessert and Jay Brien won the taster's choice award. Bruce Brockenborough (DJ Urban Kobbb), AJ and Bear brought in lots of money for the Purchase Area Sexual Assault & Child Advocacy Center during the auction... The hosted bar was open all night — oy vey... And the kids of all ages had a great time. My highlight: meeting the gorgeously famous blogger Ashley "Boss" Sanders. She won tickets from iList Paducah (below)! Don't miss this event next year! It's a great party for a great cause.
