Hands On St. Nick - A Makeover
St. Nicholas Family Clinic
1901 Kentucky Ave.
8:00 am - 6:00 pm
Come help us give this 20 year old organization a NEW LOOK! Help us paint, clean, organize and create a welcoming environment for our patients and the community.

Specific needs include: taping & mudding supplies, paint & artwork groupings, rugs, blinds & plants/interior foliage, soft fluorescents, baby changing station (x2), office organizers, L-shape desk, chairs, coffee tables, flooring – wood laminate & vinyl or tile, and volunteers.

Having served almost 7,000 patients since opening in 1994, St. Nicholas Family Free Clinic has made a significant impact on the health of our community and region. We are looking forward to giving back to the clinic by recruiting local businesses and volunteers to help lay new floors, freshen the walls with new paint, and organize the space for people to be proud of. Featuring JLF Interior Designs.

Tonight at the Picture Show…

I've been meaning to plug this movie, but with all the wine flowing over there at the Carson Center, I've been a little distracted! Maiden Alley Cinema, the West Kentucky Community and Technical College Clemens Fine Arts Center and... ...the Paducah School of Art are sponsoring the Southern Circuits Independent Film Series. They've shown a few really great films already, and tonight they're screening A Man Named Pearl, a documentary by producer/director Scott Galloway. Scott will be on hand, actually, to meet with folks and do a fun Q&A session afterward. The movie sounds really interesting. It's about a self-taught topiary artist named Pearl Fryar. Folks come from all over the place to see his work at his home in Lee County, S.C. The movie is tonight, 7 p.m., at Maiden Alley Cinema. $5. Hope to see you there!
