Nikki is an artist on a mission to save the world from bad design. She is highly inappropriate, drinks too much coffee, spends too much time on the computer and would rather be drawing pretty pictures.

Mary Thorsby
Camera in one hand, cocktail in the other, MareMare shares her favorite people, places and parties in Louisville. Find her “finds” intriguing? Then go check ‘em out. And take her to dinner after. Oh, she does corporate stuff, too.

Laura K
Giving ‘em something to talk about (with style!) Promotional services of all kinds are for hire. Fashion, travel, food and art musings are complimentary.

Kelsie Gray is a poetess, pie alchemist, and English teacher. She lives with three cats who all suffer from varying degrees of insanity and makes a hobby of photographing herself in bathtubs that do not belong to her.

Suzanne Clinton
Serving up the random online musings of an over-thinking 40-something liberal with a serious attitude problem and a dog that eats its own poop since 2005. Read her at Bizzyville.

Saturday, May 26

You may think — based on the food photos I post on Facebook and the Foursquare checkins at bars and restaurants — that eating and drinking are all I do when not working on iList Paducah. My favorite things about Paducah, however, are the artists and galleries in LowerTown and Downtown. This past Saturday night was a great example. The Yeiser Art Center had an opening of a show of prints from the Yeiser’s and director Michael Crouse’s personal collections. The exhibit displays examples of four traditional printmaking processes: relief printing, intaglio, lithography and screen printing. Accompanying the beautiful prints were four stations showing the tools and materials used to create each type of print. Michael did a great job of describing how each type of print is made.
Next up was painter/printmaker/photographer Paul Aho, who is also the digital photography instructor at the Paducah School of Art. His bright and graphic paintings looked great in Helene and Bob Davis’ Jefferson Street Studios gallery space! Go check out both of these shows for yourself!
