Hands On St. Nick - A Makeover
St. Nicholas Family Clinic
1901 Kentucky Ave.
8:00 am - 6:00 pm
Come help us give this 20 year old organization a NEW LOOK! Help us paint, clean, organize and create a welcoming environment for our patients and the community.

Specific needs include: taping & mudding supplies, paint & artwork groupings, rugs, blinds & plants/interior foliage, soft fluorescents, baby changing station (x2), office organizers, L-shape desk, chairs, coffee tables, flooring – wood laminate & vinyl or tile, and volunteers.

Having served almost 7,000 patients since opening in 1994, St. Nicholas Family Free Clinic has made a significant impact on the health of our community and region. We are looking forward to giving back to the clinic by recruiting local businesses and volunteers to help lay new floors, freshen the walls with new paint, and organize the space for people to be proud of. Featuring JLF Interior Designs.

From Italy With Love

imageOur dear Bill Renzulli of Gallery 5 has a new show with works inspired by his Italian heritage and recent month long trip to Italy (JEALOUS!). It will open with a reception for the public at the gallery November 13, 2010 from 5-8 pm.

This series, entitled “From Italy with Love”, has a focus on colorful architecture and landscapes, featuring works in acrylic, pastel and watercolor, as well as clay mono types and drawings.  Bill has created a new and unique approach to representing architecture and streetscapes by drawing directly on the clay prints with inks and acrylic.  My two girls got a special demonstration of the clay mono technique and two mini Renzulli’s prints of their very own (JEALOUS!).

imageWilliam Renzulli has successfully woven art and medicine into the fabric of his life.  An internal medicine specialist for 9 years, he began pursuing a career in art in 1981, and in 2002 retired from medicine completely and moved to Paducah with the artist relocation program.  (In fact, he was the VERY FIRST artist to be accepted into the program!)  Here he has achieved his long standing dream of opening a gallery to show his work.

Gallery 5 is located at 803 Madison Street in Paducah’s lowertown district.  For more information on Renzulli and the “From Italy With Love” reception, contact Gallery 5 at 270-444-2020, or visit renzulliart.com
