Hands On St. Nick - A Makeover
St. Nicholas Family Clinic
1901 Kentucky Ave.
8:00 am - 6:00 pm
Come help us give this 20 year old organization a NEW LOOK! Help us paint, clean, organize and create a welcoming environment for our patients and the community.

Specific needs include: taping & mudding supplies, paint & artwork groupings, rugs, blinds & plants/interior foliage, soft fluorescents, baby changing station (x2), office organizers, L-shape desk, chairs, coffee tables, flooring – wood laminate & vinyl or tile, and volunteers.

Having served almost 7,000 patients since opening in 1994, St. Nicholas Family Free Clinic has made a significant impact on the health of our community and region. We are looking forward to giving back to the clinic by recruiting local businesses and volunteers to help lay new floors, freshen the walls with new paint, and organize the space for people to be proud of. Featuring JLF Interior Designs.

We LOVE Men Who Cook!


This is another one of my very favorite events ever. Who doesn’t love Men Who Cook? Few things are as sexy as a man whipping things together at the stove while all you have to do is sit there with your martini looking cute.

Anyway, this event benefits the Purchase Area Sexual Assault & Child Advocacy Center, which is run by the very, very lovely Mary Foley. LOVE LOVE LOVE her and all the wonderful work that Mary and her staff do. The event is 7 p.m., Saturday, March 13 at the Convention/Expo Center in Paducah.

Buy tix through PASAC, 270.534.4422. They’re $35 (or $60 for two), plus $10 for an alcohol-all-night drink ticket. Which I think is genius considering that I very likely drank up all of PASAC’s profits last year….
