Hands On St. Nick - A Makeover
St. Nicholas Family Clinic

Come help us give this 20 year old organization a NEW LOOK! Help us paint, clean, organize and create a welcoming environment for our patients and the community.

Specific needs include: taping & mudding supplies, paint & artwork groupings, rugs, blinds & plants/interior foliage, soft fluorescents, baby changing station (x2), office organizers, L-shape desk, chairs, coffee tables, flooring – wood laminate & vinyl or tile, and volunteers.

Having served almost 7,000 patients since opening in 1994, St. Nicholas Family Free Clinic has made a significant impact on the health of our community and region. We are looking forward to giving back to the clinic by recruiting local businesses and volunteers to help lay new floors, freshen the walls with new paint, and organize the space for people to be proud of. Western Baptist a Top 100!

Western Baptist Hospital has been identified in the nation’s top 3 percent for demonstrating the fastest, most consistent improvement over five consecutive years, earning a spot in Thomson Reuters 100 Top Hospitals. The study — Thomson Reuters 100 Top Hospitals: Performance Improvement Leaders, 5th Edition — examined the performance of more than 2,800 U.S. hospitals on a variety of clinical, operational and patient safety criteria to identify the 100 winners. Six Kentucky hospitals were listed. This recognition follows other prestigious awards including the Commission on Cancer’s Outstanding Achievement Award, the American Heart Association’s Get with the Guidelines award and Western Kentucky’s only national accreditation by the Society of Chest Pain Centers, all honoring Western Baptist this year for excellence in healthcare.
