Hands On St. Nick - A Makeover
St. Nicholas Family Clinic

Come help us give this 20 year old organization a NEW LOOK! Help us paint, clean, organize and create a welcoming environment for our patients and the community.

Specific needs include: taping & mudding supplies, paint & artwork groupings, rugs, blinds & plants/interior foliage, soft fluorescents, baby changing station (x2), office organizers, L-shape desk, chairs, coffee tables, flooring – wood laminate & vinyl or tile, and volunteers.

Having served almost 7,000 patients since opening in 1994, St. Nicholas Family Free Clinic has made a significant impact on the health of our community and region. We are looking forward to giving back to the clinic by recruiting local businesses and volunteers to help lay new floors, freshen the walls with new paint, and organize the space for people to be proud of. We've Got 5 Pairs of Honky Tonk Badonkadonk Tix!

Y'all might remember that I've never been a huge fan of Trace Adkins' Honky Tonk Badonkadonk song. Last summer, when Suzanne, Patience and I had a little column in the Paducah Sun's Current, in celebration of Adkins' upcoming Harrah's performance we were asked to comment on the proper use of the phrase. Not surprisingly, we each had a little something to say. You can read for yourself in this old post — just click the column to enlarge it. Nonetheless. He is cute. And he's coming back to Harrah's Saturday, Oct. 10. And iList Paducah has five pairs of tickets to give away. Because while we may not have been fans of Badonkadonk at the time, now that we see how cute he is, well that kinda changes everything. So if you'd like to take your, uh, favorite badonkadonk to see Trace Adkins, just send me an email or leave a comment by noon Wednesday, Oct. 7.
