Hands On St. Nick - A Makeover
St. Nicholas Family Clinic
1901 Kentucky Ave.
8:00 am - 6:00 pm
Come help us give this 20 year old organization a NEW LOOK! Help us paint, clean, organize and create a welcoming environment for our patients and the community.

Specific needs include: taping & mudding supplies, paint & artwork groupings, rugs, blinds & plants/interior foliage, soft fluorescents, baby changing station (x2), office organizers, L-shape desk, chairs, coffee tables, flooring – wood laminate & vinyl or tile, and volunteers.

Having served almost 7,000 patients since opening in 1994, St. Nicholas Family Free Clinic has made a significant impact on the health of our community and region. We are looking forward to giving back to the clinic by recruiting local businesses and volunteers to help lay new floors, freshen the walls with new paint, and organize the space for people to be proud of. Featuring JLF Interior Designs.

With Minutes and Seconds to Spare

UPDATE: This just in from Landee: A total of 14 movies were turned in yesterday — and all 14 will be screened Tuesday and Wednesday nights. Just eight, however, were turned in under the deadline. So just those eight will be eligible to win! What a wild weekend for the folks participating in the 48 Hour Film Project! Tom Dolan's Funky Little Shack Productions team, which Evan Bright and I have been following, turned over their finished movie in 47 hours and 54 minutes! That's Tom, left, with Daniel Yocum editing the credits. Jonathan Warren of Phocus Media races to turn in "Day to Die" with just 15 seconds to spare. The movie stars the beautiful Laura K. She's got a cute post about it all on her blog! Both Phocus photos by Drew Swim, by the way. And Heather Ryan's Bad Baby Productions not only got their film in, but it's already posted on YouTube! Congrats to all the teams! Everyone is invited to watch all the movies on Tuesday or Wednesday night, 7 p.m., at Maiden Alley Cinema! All the films will be showing both of those nights. $5. Awards will be given Thursday at 7 p.m. Free.
