Hands On St. Nick - A Makeover
St. Nicholas Family Clinic

Come help us give this 20 year old organization a NEW LOOK! Help us paint, clean, organize and create a welcoming environment for our patients and the community.

Specific needs include: taping & mudding supplies, paint & artwork groupings, rugs, blinds & plants/interior foliage, soft fluorescents, baby changing station (x2), office organizers, L-shape desk, chairs, coffee tables, flooring – wood laminate & vinyl or tile, and volunteers.

Having served almost 7,000 patients since opening in 1994, St. Nicholas Family Free Clinic has made a significant impact on the health of our community and region. We are looking forward to giving back to the clinic by recruiting local businesses and volunteers to help lay new floors, freshen the walls with new paint, and organize the space for people to be proud of. I'm super excited about the Yeiser Art Center party this Saturday, Aug. 9. It's the official opening reception for PostSecret. The show features samples from an ongoing community art project where people mail in their secrets anonymously on one side of a postcard. They're posted on postsecret.com, and included in books and in this traveling exhibit, which the gorgeous Landee Bryant was able to get before she landed the director's job at Maiden Alley Cinema. The Yeiser has already has several great parties for the show. So if you've missed them, or had so much fun that you wanna come back for more, please join us for this wine and cheese reception. DJ Urban Kobbb will be spinning tunes Saturday, 5-7 p.m., and then local musicians will perform original songs based on the secrets reflected in the show. It's going to be a great party, so I hope everyone can make it! iList Paducah is one of the sponsors, so count on a few T-shirt giveaways!
