Hands On St. Nick - A Makeover
St. Nicholas Family Clinic

Come help us give this 20 year old organization a NEW LOOK! Help us paint, clean, organize and create a welcoming environment for our patients and the community.

Specific needs include: taping & mudding supplies, paint & artwork groupings, rugs, blinds & plants/interior foliage, soft fluorescents, baby changing station (x2), office organizers, L-shape desk, chairs, coffee tables, flooring – wood laminate & vinyl or tile, and volunteers.

Having served almost 7,000 patients since opening in 1994, St. Nicholas Family Free Clinic has made a significant impact on the health of our community and region. We are looking forward to giving back to the clinic by recruiting local businesses and volunteers to help lay new floors, freshen the walls with new paint, and organize the space for people to be proud of. You’re invited - Sulli’s Taste Tech Event

alt textSocial media is integrated into most of our lives like never before and being embraced by businesses as a way to connect with customers.  One such area business, Sulli’s Steakhouse, is taking that a step further by hosting their Taste Tech event this Wednesday, September 1 from 6 to 9 pm.

“The idea behind this event was to couple our traditional, in-person customer service with newer social media communication techniques to further enhance our relationship with our customers. ”  said marketing director Kelli Collier Ellerman.  “This event brings the two together in a very literal, recognizeable way.”

A panel of local social media influencers will dine on a special menu while communicating their dining experience to the world via facebook, foursquare and twitter.  Everyone is invited out mix and mingle with the panel and help Sulli’s choose their first special to be offered via foursquare.  Plus, all Sulli’s Facebook fans will receive 10% off!  See you there!
