iLove it
We know you single folks are busy. iList Paducah's Mary Thorsby goes on that first date so you don't have to!

January 23, 2010

Brent Connell

Educator and athlete Brent Connell is not only easy on the eyes, he’s totally super sweet. Meet this super sexy single dad and find out what he’s got on his back.

Brent Connell, you are cute, cute, cute, no doubt about it! Here we go!

  1. alt textI work as an Elementary School Social Worker/Behavior Interventionist. My real passion is helping kids who need a little extra motivation to stay in class and work hard.

  2. I’m originally from the Southern Illinois area and have lived all around the area. I moved back to Paducah three years ago because my mom offered to help me with my 3-year-old daughter, Alyssa..

  3. Actually, you’ve already met Alyssa. There’s a photo of us with Layla, our Brindle Boxer, in an iPet story from last spring.

  4. Yep, I’m a single dad living with two women in the house. Hooray for me!

  5. I’m absolutely crazy about and devoted to Alyssa. My favorite thing about her is how fast she learns and grows.

  6. I know a lot of people say it about their kids, but my daughter is very smart and picks up on things fast.

  7. Finding the balance of dating and raising a child is still really tough.

  8. Most people tell me that I’m a really good dad. I take a lot of pride in that.

  9. I run a lot — you’ll always find me in our local 5K races. I’m currently training for the Nashville Country Music half-marathon even though I have heard it is a tough race.

  10. I’ve been doing Insanity workouts, which are a big change from the usual. I thought I was in great shape, but I’m exhausted!

  11. I won’t give up, though. I’m very competitive. And some say I’m very determined.

  12. alt textI’m really drawn to women who are athletic and take care of themselves.

  13. I have lost quite a bit of weight over the last year and a half, so finding someone who eats right and lives an active lifestyle is very important.

  14. I’m big on eye contact. I think it is very important.

  15. When I’m not working, working out or taking care of my girls, I enjoy watching football, college basketball and playing pool.

  16. Just a heads up, I’m NOT a Wildcats fan.

  17. Would love to start kayaking once the weather gets warmer.

  18. I have two tattoos inspired by my granddad, Peepaw. His reflects his struggle with decisions over what is right and wrong. He has Jesus on one arm and a Tasmanian devil on the other, if that tells you anything.

  19. Mine are on my back and reflect my own battle with good vs. bad.

  20. These days, good’s winning.
