• I’m super tall for a girl: 5’11”
  
  
• I speak French. Well, a little. But I’m fluent in sarcasm.
  
  
• I was blessed with the opportunity to interview my favorite musician in July, Bear Rinehart, lead singer of Needtobreathe.
  
  
• I played college softball.
  
  
• I won a Kentucky Press Association award in 2010 for reporting.
  
  
• I’m obsessed with the TV show “Mad Men.”
  
  
• My taste in music ranges from Elton John to Taylor Swift to Eminem.
  
  
• I do a pretty solid impression of the rapper Maino.
  
  
• I love University of Kentucky basketball and St. Louis Cardinals baseball. (World champs, baby!)
  
  
• My Marshall County accent gets extra thick when I’m angry.
  
  
• I run a couple miles a day.
  
  
• I have an affinity for Boston accents. I think it stems from my love of the movie “The Town.”
  
  
• I lived in Charleston, S.C. for six months.
  
  
• I have mayonnaise. HATE IT.
  
  
• I’m a sucker for the “meathead” type (although I prefer to call it the “lineman” type): tall, athletic, strong and all-around masculine.
  
  
• I have the coolest dog in the world, a red Doberman named Zoe.
  
  
• I have a girl crush on Adele and Christina Hendricks.
  
  
• I’m terrified of snakes, heights and clowns.
  
  
• Sushi is my favorite food. Followed closely by orange cranberry muffins from Panera.
