Jana Barnes, you are cute, cute, cute, no doubt about it! Here we go:

1. I moved from Nashville almost 10 years ago. I really like it here… my favorite thing about Western Kentucky is the lake!
   
   
2. I don’t think you can measure success by money or social status. If my two beautiful kiddos grow up to be compassionate adults — then I’ll know I’ve been successful.
   
   
3. Summer is absolutely my favorite season but fall is a close second because football season begins! I try to get to LP field a couple of times a year.
   
   
4. Speaking of football, I think the Roethlisberger situation didn’t warrant such a heavy suspension.
   
   
5. I love to laugh. It’s fair to say that I have a pretty inappropriate, sarcastic sense of humor. Most of my friends do as well. I know I can make fun of them without worry because they will most definitely return the favor.
   
   
6. I listen to all types of music from rap to country. I love it all. My favorite musician of all time is Bob Marley.
   
   
7. Simplicity is important to me. A perfect evening is one spent with good friends – grilling, listening to live music or just laughing.
   
   
8. Since I was a kid, I’ve wanted a Jeep. I recently got one and am loving it!!!!!
   
   
9. I don’t spend much time watching TV. I can’t remember the last time I went to the cinema to see a movie. I see previews and think “I’d like to see that,” but I don’t follow through. I recently got a wild hair to watch the Lovely Bones so I rented it from Redbox. Did you know that if you don’t return a movie within 25 days, you own it?
   
   
10. I don’t drink coffee but LOVE the way it smells. I have to have Diet Coke in the morning. Weird, right?
    
    
11. I could not make it a day without ChapStick.  It would require a professional intervention to part with it.
    
    
12. I truly believe life is short and each day is a gift. I try not to spend too much time obsessing about things that aren’t going well or things I have no control over. I believe that every experience makes you stronger and the whole point of life is to learn new things about yourself and the people around you so you can become a better human, friend, spouse, parent, child, sibling, etc.
    
    
13. The expressions “too honest for your own good” and “loyal to a fault” are comical. Can a person really be too honest or too loyal?
    
    
14. I would rather be outside than indoors.
    
    
15. My favorite flowers are Black-Eyed Susans.
    
    
16. I love making new friends and getting to know people. I’m blessed with the friends I’ve made since moving here. They’re some of the coolest, most honest people I’ve ever known.
    
    
17. Even though I’m officially a “responsible adult,” I feel like a kid most of the time.
    
    
18. I wouldn’t consider myself too girly but I do have an obsession with heels. I wear them almost every day. On the rare occasion I’m not wearing heels and a dress, I’ll be sporting flip-flops and old jeans.
    
    
19. I believe that the energy you put out there — positive or negative — always finds its way back to you in time. 
    
    
20. Carnivore? Yes, please. I’m a sucker for a rare filet.
