Jody Suhrheinrich

Leave it to the strikingly beautiful and strikingly funny Jody Suhrheinrich, 27, to give our iDate column a new and slightly crazed twist. Wanna know 20 things about this darling Shandies bartender? Here we go:

1. I am kind of dating someone, a little bit single and a lot heartbroken so just think you all should know that.
   
   
2. When I was a kid I tried to convince my youngest sister, Jeannie, that Martin Luther King was her real father…I don’t even know — and yes I realize this is wrong on so many levels — she was 3.
   
   
3. I told my middle sister, Emily, that cappuccino was a cuss word. She believed me.
   
   
4. I am an Indiana girl, born and raised, but have lived in Paducah for the longest amount of time in my life. And I do actually like it…most of the time.
   
   
5. I love movies, except for ET, that movie really messed me up for life…
   
   
6. I inherited the genetic gift of the ramble — you noticed? Your voicemail will suffer.
   
   
7. I would have to say my favorite food is hot dogs…or butter.
   
   
8. When I was 18-20 years old my dream job was to be a bartender. My bar in Bloomington, Ind. (greatest town in the world) trained me the day I turned 21. Now I’m 27 and I still love it — come see me at Shandies! I know, dream big.
   
   
9. I deserve an honorary Psych degree after all these years behind a bar.
   
   
10. My hobbies include intoxicated dance parties with my sisters, food (any kind), more television than I care to name, red wine, reading anything with words, writing in a strange and angry manner, sleep-eating, vodka and fighting with my cat.
    
    
11. Now that my mother is mildly horrified from No. 9 I want to mention that MY MOTHER,  HEIDI SUHRHEINRICH, IS THE GREATEST WOMAN IN THE WORLD! Check her out as the director of Paducah Cooperative Ministry. Humbling.
    
    
12. I think Lady Gaga is the most important recording artist of our time.
    
    
13. About once or twice a week I contribute a blog to my friend Tyler’s blog, so you should read that before you try and iDate me or whatever.
    
    
14. When I was 9 I broke my shoulder and no one took me to the hospital for three days.
    
    
15. I will never, ever, ever, NEVER date anyone who listens to Nickelback.
    
    
16. I love animals, especially kitties, especially my kitty — Kitty who only bites because he loves me so much and I deserve it.
    
    
17. I hate talking to people, but by some cruel twist of fate I’m really good at it.
    
    
18. DO NOT take me to any sort of social event and expect me to act like anything other than myself, honest to a fault and wildly inappropriate.
    
    
19. I have an irrational fear of wood chippers.
    
    
20. If you still have any interest in dating me after reading the above information, you are probably just as unbalanced as I am…and well I’m not so sure that’s a good thing. CHEERS!
