I’m a musician and can play many instruments. I take to music like a duck to water, not to be stuck up about it though. I really like the fashion in which music speaks to people, on so many levels. I feel that if I can compose something that moves people, well, then, I’ve done something very meaningful to me.
Born and raised in sunny Southern California. Love the Pacific, where I lived in Redondo Beach for many years. One thing I love to do is to grab some coffee and go for a relaxed-paced stroll along a waters’ edge, whether it be the ocean, lake, river, or stream. I miss the good things of Cali, but don’t miss the bad things. Moved out here to be closer to real seasons, which I appreciate. My new philosophy about seasons; I tend to think that people have a better chance to be more in tune with a natural balance, inside, when they are more or less forced to deal with the changing seasons. In scripture it says that there is a time for everything, and I believe that. Besides, I am more attracted to green things, bodies of water, cool places, and cool people.
Before moving over I graduated from Cal State Long Beach with a degree in finance. I’m naturally curious to how the financial systems works and how I might invest myself within it. My concentration is in investments, which is another one of my philosophies; isn’t EVERYTHING and investment of some kind? Currently, I am prospecting to pursue either a CFA license, a dual degree program (specifically a Juris Doctor/MBA program), and heavier work in the financial fields. I really enjoy financial analysis. Ultimately, I dream of owning and operating my own private label music recording company or a related entrepreneurial venture. But, don’t most of us want to be our own boss?!
Didn’t attend much church in Cali, but now am very interested to become more involved. I am very interested in a spiritual awakening, in myself, and in others. I feel it’s so important for people these days, to reach for the true meaning within their lives. I am no exception and am reeling for better meaning, firmer direction, always wanting to refine myself.
I have a big heart, although sometimes you can’t see it. I prefer to always sow seeds of love than of bitterness, or with any other negativity. Life is too short!
Q&A
What’s one thing you can do really well?
Kissing ;-)
What’s ONE thing you definitely want a potential date to know about you?
I’m one of the good guys.
You’re stranded on a desert island. You can have one book, one household implement, and one ever-replenishing food provision. What would you have with you?
Book: The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy
Household implement: guitar
Food: sauerkraut
Sometimes, it’s easy to get in a dinner-and-a-movie rut when it comes to dating. If you could have an ideal date with that special someone, what would it entail?
Fun, and the simple ability for both of us (especially her) to let our hair down.
