Kala Marie Noles

alt text

Stunningly, stunningly beautiful Kala Marie Noles, 27, stands 5’10” (6’2” in heels), often sporting her BFF William Sledd and some very unexpected talents — she’s a Paducah City Bowling Champion, for one. Come to her Creative Touch Nail Salon this month, and Kala will paint pumpkins on your toenails!

  1. alt textI dabble in magic. I’m good at disappearing from time to time.

  2. I am 5’10” but 6’2” in heels. And I’m very serious about it.

  3. I’m from Livingston County which means I am one of those rare finds who can drive a tractor with curlers in my hair. Seriously, I did pageants. Those fields wait for no beauty queen!

  4. I did not get to where I am today princess-style. I started working when I was 16, had my own business at 21 and put myself through school the whole time.

  5. I now own Creative Touch Nail Salon inside the southside Express Tan! I’m passionate about nails.

  6. While some may scoff, there IS a certain artistry to doing nails. Painting portraits, painting nails = art!

  7. I paint nail designs freehand, no stencils…just in case you’re not convinced of my artistic prowess.

  8. Come in this month, and I’ll paint pumpkins on your toenails!

  9. If I could design an OPI color it would be a deep jade-green. I would call it “With Envy.”

  10. Staying on the nail tip, the French manicure is still the most requested polish. Recommendation? “An Affair in Red Square.”

  11. I’m not conceited, but I do know what I’m worth. I’ve worked hard for what I have.

  12. Southside Chong’s is my favorite place to eat. Just the southside location, though.

  13. I love cats, but I’m not a crazy cat lady. I like dogs, too.

  14. I’m an awesome bowler. I have seven balls — I switch them up depending on the lane conditions. I used to be Paducah City Bowling Champion.

  15. There are two types of balls — fingertip and conventional. I always use fingertip. There’s nothing conventional about me.

  16. You really wanna impress me? See you every Wednesday night, mixed league at Cardinal Lanes.

  17. A man in a suit or uniform? A suit is hot, but a uniform is good for role play.

  18. I have a drawer filled with 400 lip glosses. Lipstick, lip stain, lip liner, lip plumper, chapstick. I’ve got it all.

  19. I recognized the guitar riff to Cat Scratch fever in only five seconds the other night at a table FULL of pop-culture addicts.

  20. I collect lobsters. I once decorated my kitchen in a nautical theme with lobsters everywhere, When Paula Dean came out with the Ahoy Mate dishes at Dillard’s, I almost had a nervous breakdown.

  21. The cherry dress. Yes, the cherry dress. It’s from the Jessica Simpson line. The real name of the dress is Cherry on Top.

  22. I know, I know. They defy gravity. But I really want people to like me for the person I am, not my physical attributes. And I really think there are some men who need to learn to admire FROM AFAR.
